Does anyone have a work-around for this? (WIDI is a great new technology that allows you to show your notebook display on a smart TV via WiFi.) And FYI, I think Check Point also blocks Microsoft Homegroup.

WIDI works perfectly when the client is not installed. With the Check Point VPN client installed, the WIDI connection starts normally (the TV asks you to grant the notebook access) but it doesn't ever connect and eventually times out.

I can easily replicate the problem by installing/uninstalling the Check Point client. I've found that the Check Point Endpoint Security VPN clients version E75.20 and E75.30 prevent Intel WIDI from connecting to my TV even when the client app is NOT connected and even when the client is shutdown.
